CHARLESTON, SC—One of Bill Clinton’s talking points this week is just how thick Hillary Clinton and John McCain are.
Today in Spartanburg, he described them as "very close." And the other night in Myrtle Beach, he called them "good friends," and said "they like each other." The topic seems to be coming up relatively often, and unprompted (not to mention that it’s different than the attitude McCain has taken towards Clinton).
Maybe it’s because one of his stumping points is that his wife builds bridges with Republicans. But it also just makes one feel uncomfortable about what life after the conventions might (might!) be like.
