Let the speculation begin. The Wall Street Journal announced this morning that it is removing the paid firewall on its web site for its opinion and editorial content, which raises an obvious but pressing question: How far is Rupert Murdoch from turning the entire web site free?
Giving a nod to the Journal’s mantra, a note this morning concludes (quite cheekily):"We’re delighted to offer our world-wide readers access to our message of free people and free markets — for free. And we hope you’ll pay a visit"
