Shortly after reports that John McCain would consider Joe Lieberman as a running mate, and that Lieberman is making the Jewish case for McCain, Giuliani aide Ken Kurson sends out this strongly worded, Jewish-supporter-targeted reminder of the mayor’s bona fides:

And when Mayor Giuliani led the U.S. delegation of the first-ever Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe conference on anti-Semitism in Europe, he understood how important it is to stand up against what he termed, "a burden that has held Europe back for two millennia."
Please remind people that during his time as mayor of the largest Jewish community outside of Israel, Rudy did an incredible amount for the Jewish Community, from working to preserve Jewish Heritage, to moving his inauguration from Saturday to Sunday, to crowning a matzoh ball eating champion!
