Friday, February 29th

The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon at the Waldorf honors Martha Stewart as a “Woman With Heart” (following past winners Joan Rivers, Cindy McCain and Libby Pataki). Later, banish all thoughts of Martha from your mind and change the batteries in that trusty ol’ Rabbit Pearl as the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s “Rendez-Vous With French Cinema” 2008 kicks off, featuring 15 works of French celluloid such as Roman de Gare, in which “a notorious serial killer escapes from prison and Paris hair-dresser Huguette, looking to change her destiny, picks up a man at a roadside stop.” Sacré bleu!
