While most City Council members and state legislators want more exposure from daily papers, the elected in Staten Island operate under a microscope, since they have one daily paper that dedicates lots of energy just to them.
But covering a beat as thoroughly as Goldenberg does sometimes leads to big citywide scoops–like news that Bloomberg would have a cameo in the Sex and the City movie.
