Report: Hillary Clinton Campaign Has Lodged Complaints About Chris Matthews With MSNBC

Greg Sargent at TalkingPointsMemo has confirmed with sources of his that the prime beef Hillary Clinton’s campaign has had with the MSNBC network is the pugilistic behavior of Hardball‘s Chris Matthews.

Apparently both Mandy Grunwald and Howard Wolfson have complained to the network about Matthews’ treatment of their candidate; and everybody remembers the embarrassing apology Matthews was compelled to offer (by his own conscience, or by others? Watch the video above and judge for yourself) after he suggested that Hillary’s strength as a politician was derived from her victimhood in the Whie House after her husband’s philandering became publicly acknowledged.

So, has David Shuster taken punishment for Matthews’ sins? That’s still mostly just speculation.
