Paterson and Bloomberg on Obama’s Speech About Race

Here’s a video The Observer‘s Azi Paybarah shot yesterday of David Paterson and Michael Bloomberg’s press conference, where a reporter asked them what they thought of Barack Obama’s speech on race.

Paterson praised the speech, saying, "He talked about the different avenues of society that become frustrated."

Bloomberg, who deferred to Paterson at first, said, "I think it’s an issue that he has to address, I thought he should have done it earlier, I’m glad he did and let’s get on with it."
