Humans aren’t the only mammals fighting for real estate in Brownstone Brooklyn. Now, even dogs are joining the fray!
Apparently, the number of canines vying for space in Fort Greene Park has increased to the point that owners are concerned about a corresponding rise in dust-ups between mutts.
The blog, General Greene, reports that the president of the local dog-owners organization, Fort Greene PUPS, emailed members warning that intra-species attacks are on the rise, thanks to "overcrowding."
At least one commenter, called "pbuddy," took issue with the worry-warts: "dogs get bit sometimes. sad, but true. it’s the risk you take as a dog owner during off leash hours."
