NY1 has a pretty amazing interview with Pennsylvania Governor (and Clinton super-supporter) Ed Rendell in which he takes an unmistakably dim view of the idea of pushing for a spot on an Obama-led ticket.
“There’s no bargaining," he told Dominic Carter, according to a transcript from NY1. "You don’t bargain with the Presidential nominee. Even if you’re Hillary Clinton and you have 18 million votes, you don’t bargain.”
Rendell also said, according to the release, that Obama would have to be an “enormously big person” to pick Clinton as his running mate and that she “couldn’t help but upstage” Obama if they ran together.
