In Paterson’s Economic Speech, Says Legislators on ‘Vacation’

Politically, the line that jumped out from David Paterson’s five-minute speech about the state’s worsening financial condition was at about the three minute mark, when he described State Assembly members and senators as being on “vacation.”

“We are going to end the legislators’ vacations and bring them back to Albany to reprioritize the way we manage New York State’s finances.”
