Maybe we will have a Democratic primary after all.
At the 2:40 mark of this interview with CW 11 this morning, Comptroller Bill Thompson was asked point-blank if he’d run for mayor against Michael Bloomberg.
“Yes,” Thompson said.
Thompson had been more equivocal in his remarks on this topic earlier. It led to reports here and elsewhere indicating that the only top-tier Democrat likely to forge ahead if Bloomberg decided to run would be Representative Anthony Weiner.
