Bloomberg Meets Quietly With Teamsters


About 30 minutes before Bill Thompson walked into the Teamsters Union Local 810 building on 15th Street for an endorsement interview this afternoon, out walked his leading opponent, Michael Bloomberg.

Accompanying Bloomberg for the meeting, which was not on his public or campaign schedule, and was not open to the press, were his campaign manager, Bradley Tusk, campaign aide Patrick Brennan, who is a former 1199 SEIU organizer, and City Hall spokesman Stu Loeser.

Bloomberg and his entourage left before Thompson arrived.
