Attorneys for Joe Bruno are accusing federal investigators of intimidating” and “harassing” family, friends and business associates of the former state senate majority leader, who has been under investigation for a number of years.

Specifically, Bruno attorney Andrew Baxter is calling into question subpoenas issued to Bruno’s daughter and another to Bruno’s current business spokesman, which came “the day after he spoke out in the media against the current prosecution.”

The letter is dated July 21 and was addressed to the U.S. Justice Department.
