The five-fireplace West 12th Street townhouse that belongs to the comically handsome couple Luke and Julie Janklow, who are reportedly separating, has been cut from $24,975,000 to $19.5 million, according to the Brown Harris Stevens listing.
Why cut now? “When you have a house on the market, you’re always thinking about those things,” said Mr. Janklow, a literary agent whose clients include Anderson Cooper and Simon Cowell.
According to Brown Harris, the house has a movie theater, a marble-floored drawing room, a garden of Portuguese cobblestone, a mercury-mirrored dining room and a master suite where his bathroom has a fireplace and hers has pink silk carpeting.
