ALBANY—Here’s a spreadsheet of all $85 million worth of pork the State Senate is spending this year, passed in the wee hours of this morning. Of the total, $77 million is going to Democrats and $8 million is going to Republicans. In the future, the breakdown will be two-thirds for the majority and one-third for the minority; this lopsided resolution was agreed to by Republicans when they received a commitment that funds they appropriated but didn’t spend in previous years would go through. The spreadsheet was provided by the Democrats, who bragged that this is the first time the “community projects” (also know as member items) have been distributed in this form. Have at it.
