The store had been updated with large circular light fixtures and bright red shaggy rugs.

As the clock struck 8, models and celebrities began streaming into the store. Selita Ebanks, Lydia Hearst and other top names from the Ford modeling agency were all there.

 Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon was also in attendance, wearing a black high-waisted skirt and an off-the-shoulder white blouse with black lace, all by Guess. “I love their clothes and I love their ads,” she told The Transom.

Ms. Hearst was wearing black skinny jeans with a purple floral tank and holding a purple Guess clutch. “Their ads are legendary,” she said of the company. Ms. Hearst recently starrred in an American Psycho–inspired music video about a threesome for Miles Fisher’s cover of the Talking Heads song “This Must Be the Place.”

“Miles is a good friend so I was willing to be a part of it," she said with a laugh. "In real life, I am very conservative." But: "I thought it was fun and funny!”

 Ms. Hearst’s good friend, Ms. Trachtenberg, was not as good-humored. When discussing her friend's video, she chastised people for judging someone’s “art," as she put it.

The actress was also irritated when asked if she maintained any resemblance to her bad-girl character on Gossip Girl, Georgina Sparks.

 “You’re the third person tonight to ask me about Georgina,” she said. “Does everyone think I am a bitch?”

Certainly not!
