De Blasio: Just Asking

It was impossible not to notice Bill de Blasio’s aggressive posture toward Mark Green during Friday’s debate. But afterward, de Blasio said he was just asking simple questions.

“I simply said, ‘What are you doing for your brother? Why did you earn hundreds of thousands of dollars? What was your job?’ and ‘If your brother is the head of the real estate board and they’re fighting for luxury decontrol, fighting against tenants’ rights, did you have an involvement in that?’ ”

“It’s a very straightforward kind of question,” de Blasio said.
