Public advocate candidate Eric Gioia is out with his second ad, which features a series of people talking straight to the camera, and Eric Gioia’s voice saying, “You can talk until you're blue in the face, but the truth is, if you're not wealthy or well connected in this city, government doesn't hear your voice.”

Gioia appears later and mentions his work on safety and schools, and food stamps, and says he’ll listen to people.
