Nadler’s Health Care Town Hall, by Telephone

Here’s a robocall Representative Jerry Nadler is putting out to tell his constituents about a “live telephone town hall” meeting about health care he’s hosting tonight at 7:10 p.m.

A reader who got it last night forwarded it to me.

“I want to let you know the latest in the health care debate in Congress and give you the opportunity to ask me questions,” Nadler says.

If you want to participate in the town hall meeting, “just be by your phone” and “I will be calling to instruct you to stay on the line and you will automatically be transferred to the live telephone town hall.”

Which is one way to try to screen the unexpected distractions that have taken place at live health-care–themed events.
