State Senator Bill Perkins comes to the defense of Richard Aborn after an opponent called Aborn a “district leader” in order to explain why so many elected officials were endorsing him.
As it turns out, the comment, made by one of Aborn’s opponents, Cy Vance, is not accurate.
Perkins, a district leader, says, “If a District Attorney presents an argument in a case, you’d hope he or she would have their facts straight and make extra careful to get it right. Whether he’s knowingly lying, or simply didn’t take the time to check the facts, Cy Vance should do better.”
