While public advocate candidate Bill de Blasio cast his vote in Park Slope this morning, his brother and cousin and other volunteers raised de Blasio signs on a street corner near the polling place.
When I asked de Blasio’s spokesman Matt Wing where his vaunted field operation was canvassing today, he refused to say.
The Working Families Party, whose for-profit arm, Data and Field Services, is doing de Blasio’s field work, also refused over the last few days to say where the canvassing would be happening, or to provide any details about what they’d be doing. They explained that the de Blasio campaign, which hired DFS, had asked that they not make the information publicly available.
