After five days of eating stadium food, every trip to the player’s dining room is making us a little dizzy.
This afternoon we saw three players who have a day off before their next matches. And for two of them, it;s likely to be their last lunch here. Lleyton Hewitt, who has Roger Federer in the next round, had a plate of salad and salmon, along with some Lays potato chips. John Isner, who’s got Andy Roddick in the next round, once again went for a sandwich. And Sam Querrey, who’s got French Open finalist Robin Soderling in the next round, and the most likely shot of the three to advance, had quite the tasty plate before him: tossed pasta, with a lemonade, a Gatorade and a Yogurt on the side.
