NYC’s Weekly Top Ten in TV: Disney’s Lil Wizards Dominate Mark Sanchez

On the night of Friday, August 28, The Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie attracted the biggest average audience in all of cable television thus far in 2009, racking up some 11.4 million total viewers nationally. In New York, the movie version of the hit TV series also claimed the top spot, attracting more than a million viewers and trouncing the annual Jets vs. Giants preseason football game along the way. Sorry Mark Sanchez. You might match up well against the Giants first team defense. But you’re no match for Disney’s magical munchkins.
