What do Conrad Aiken and Pontius Pilate have in common? At Seize sur Vingt, purveyor of high-end and custom-made suits, you can wear them both; to the tune of $200 a piece, the eponymous Egyptian cotton shirts add a dash of flair to the well-funded wardrobe. Seize sur Vingt’s new Soho home at 78 Greene Street will boast a custom clothing fitting room, what it calls a “serious upgrade to our video fitting concept” and 4,000 square feet to peruse an even more extensive fabric collection with names such as Transcaucasian Ruble, Immigrant Punk, Moral Kiosk and the Back of Love.

Merging its original store with its slightly younger, brasher Groupe 16sur20, Seize sur Vingt will join a block of luxury brand names, including John Varvatos, Hastens, Nicole Miller, J. Lindeberg and Kiki De Montparnasse.

According to Robin Zendell of Robert K. Futterman, who represented the clothing store, recession-stunted rents played a starring role in enticing Seize sur Vingt to Soho, where, it seems, there is still a market for custom corporate threads. “Seize sur Vingt has a strong consumer following in Soho,” Ms. Zendell said. “Current market conditions presented a great opportunity to relocate and open a flagship location to better serve its customers.”

Futterman’s Stefany DiManno represented Seize sur Vingt along with Ms. Zendell. Lansco’s Yair Staav represented the landlord.
