Bill Thompson said he’s not bothered that former president Bill Clinton and former vice president Al Gore appeared recently with not-Democratic mayoral candidate Michael Bloomberg.

Clinton and Gore appeared with Bloomberg at separate events and heaped praise on him, very publicly.

When I asked Thompson if this undermines his efforts to rally Democrats, he said no, and that we’ll see Democrats “coming home” and “enthusiastically looking for change and a new mayor to go into City Hall.”
