The two candidates who deserve some attention are Marianne Rampulla and Chan Leung, who are running for Township Committee in Raritan Township. I don’t usually take a strong stand statewide for two people who are running for local office, but these two people are outstanding and deserve the attention. So here goes, as well as a shot to serve their community.

And now about the fine people running:

Marianne Rampulla is a lifelong resident of New Jersey and grew up on a small farm in Hunterdon County, graduating from Rutgers University. She started serving on the Environmental Commission, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Open Space Committee and our Affordable Housing Board. Aside from the usual local volunteer resume—she is the real deal—a critical thinker, with high standards of judgment, and completely unpretentious.

Chan Leung is a first-generation immigrant and the co-owner of Data Power (DP), Inc., a private, professional firm specializing in medical writing, clinical trial analyses and associated services. He has been Vice President of the New Jersey State 4-H Association which serves over 50,000 youth members statewide, and is responsible for liaison with federal, state legislators and advocating for this leading organization of youth development.

So, if you’ve enjoyed the humor here, come out and see me live. If you have been atttacking me anonymously, come out and heckle me in real time.
