Yesterday Curbed pointed us to Envisioning Development’s interactive map of New York, which tracks income and rents by neighborhood.

Curbed’s commenters seem peeved that the map’s regions are too large to allow truly obsessive real estate analysis, but this does not mitigate its potential as an entertaining and informative timesuck: learn, for example, whether you are “Low Income” or “Very Low Income,” and how many of your neighbors share this distinction.
