Kirkus to Be Critical Again in January

The demise of Kirkus Reviews last week provoked mixed feelings in the literary world.

“It’s never been a publication worth anything. The reviews were almost always negative and not helpful in any way,” ICM co-head Esther Newberg told Leon Neyfakh. “Good riddance.”

But Kirkus would like to reassure readers that it is not yet totally gone!

GalleyCat reports that the publication has tweeted an announcement that its January 1st issue will indeed be released on schedule.
