Dinallo: I Got $1.75 Million

Eric Dinallo, who was nominated and then confirmed as Superintendent of Insurance for New York State under Eliot Spitzer, then resigned to become a professor at N.Y.U., emailed supporters to say he raised $1.75 million for a prospective run for attorney general. Dinallo said that includes “$1.3 million in just the past six weeks.”

$1.3 million is also the exact amount Richard Brodsky, an assemblyman who ran for the seat in 2006, said he raised for his possible A.G. campaign.
