HAMILTON – Veteran Monroe Twp. Mayor Richard Pucci said Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein (D-Plainsboro) can count on his vigorous support as she pursues Democratic Party backing for the 14th District senate seat.
“Linda Greenstein has served us in outstanding fashion,” said Pucci, who runs the biggest town in the Middlesex County portion of the 14th District. “She will get my unequivocal support. For ten years she has been very dependable. When it comes to honesty and integrity, she’s second to none. We’re going to be strong for Linda.”
Pucci said Greenstein’s running mate, Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo (D-Hamilton), has also distinguished himself in his two plus years in the Assembly, but Pucci has the history with Greenstein.
In a nod to state Sen. Bill Baroni (R-Hamilton), who’s leaving the senate to assume a deputy executive director post at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Pucci said “he has served the district well.”
