Senate Judiciary panel to interview Schundler, Solomon on Monday

The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on Monday to consider Gov. Christopher Christie’s nominations of Bret Schundler as Commissioner of Education and Lee Solomon as President of the Board of Public Utilities.

Schundler served as Mayor of Jersey City from 1992 to 2001, and was the Republican nominee for governor in 2001.  Solomon, a Superior Court Judge, served as a Camden County Freeholder, Assemblyman, Camden County Prosecutor, and Assistant U.S. Attorney.
