David Paterson’s campaign manager said tomorrow’s campaign kick-off event in Hofstra will be “a people’s event,” not an event for elected officials.
“We’re going to have a lot of political support to announce,” Fife told me in a brief telephone interview just now. He said rolling out endorsements isn’t the campaign’s strategy–then again there have been some reports that endorsements would be hard to find.
“We’re not the establishment candidate. This race is not gong to be won by how much political support we have. It’s going to be won by doing what’s right for the people of New York.”
