With budget negotiations impending, and Albany even more scandal-plagued and tense than usual, there are some questions about how Governor David Paterson is going to be able to work things out, particularly because he has antagonized the legislature not just once, but over and over again.
Asked about the situation, Mr. Paterson said, “Sometimes that tension is good because it creates pressure on both sides to bring viable alternatives to the table.”
And then the event was over.
