Chase is decidely optimistic about The Times‘ iPad app. The bank sunk $1 million into a three-to-six month sponshorship deal, according to Rory Maher at TBI Research (by way of Business Insider).
Users of the free app can apparently thank “Chase Sapphire, a premier rewards card for the affluent market,” according to The Times‘ press release.
The release said the paper is also developing “a full, paid app for iPad as part of its overall paid strategy.”
