Long Branch mayoral candidates report dwindled coffers to ELEC

In the race to sit on the throne in Long Branch City Hall, veteran incument Mayor Adam Schneider this week reported $73,233 raised and a closing balance of $5,784, according to the state Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC).

His challenger, Councilman Brian Unger reported $18,191 raised alone and a closing balance of $422, according to ELEC; a dollar amount upgraded to an additional $26,563 raised and $7,516, according to a joint campaign committee fund.
