Sean McDonald Heads to FSG

Sean McDonald is leaving Riverhead Books for Farrar, Straus & Giroux, reports The Awl.

Here’s how The Observer described him back in 2003, when he was but an emergent “Power Punk”:

Big, quiet, slightly rough-hewn Sean McDonald, the senior editor and online creative director of Riverhead Books, has become the Zen master of the publishing world. McDonald replaces Lorin Stein, who recently left FSG for The Paris Review.
