art Costume Institute Gala Raised $9 Million This year’s Costume Institute gala, which took place on Monday evening, was attended by 725 guests and raised a reported $9 million. It is the most that the benefit has ever brought in, according to Women’s Wear Daily. Last year’s gala brought in $5.4 million by comparison.
