The iPad hype was annoying, but it also appears to have been entirely justified. paidContent reports that iPad sales have already passed the million mark, just 28 days after the the product was introduced on April 3. As Jobs noted in a release, that’s considerably faster than it took to move a million iPhones.
“One million iPads in 28 days — that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Demand continues to exceed supply and we’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers.”
Magical? Guess we’ll give that to him.
