CBS, the owner of award-winning television news magazine 48 Hours, is suing coffee-fueled San Francisco-based publishing experiment 48 HR magazine, according to David Carr.
“To be honest, none of us even knew that there was still a program called ’48 Hours,’ so it never crossed our mind,” Mathew Honan, one of the minds behind the high-speed magazine experiment, told David Carr.
“Tweaking what is already there at the behest of lawyers seems very contrary to the spirit of the project. But we will comply with whatever is worked out because we’re just a group of individuals with no money.”
