The New York Times paywall launch in January might get off to a rocky start, according to Barry Diller.
“I think they’ll succeed eventually, not this time around,” Mr. Diller told Bloomberg Television. “This is going to be an evolution.”
Eventually, he said, people will pay for media content the way they buy songs on iTunes.
“People are paying for music, they could get it free, but they’re paying for it,” Diller said.
