<p align="left">Gentrification is alive and well in the West Village.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>Burberry Brit</strong>, an English clothing retailer, signed a 10-year lease at <strong>369 Bleecker Street</strong> for its third Manhattan location. The asking rent was a staggering $525 per square foot for the <strong>1,800-square-feet space</strong>.</p>
<p align="left">The retailer replaces Les Pierre Antiques, an antiques store that had been in the neighborhood for a long time but was part of a group of shops and bookstores that were pushed out by well-heeled tenants. Other nearby boutique apparel stores include Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors.</p>
<p align="left"><strong>Joan Siegel</strong> of<strong> Siegel Consultants </strong>represented the tenant. <strong>Joel Isaacs </strong>and <strong>David Baker</strong> of<strong> Isaacs &amp; Co.</strong> represented landlord <strong>Beck Street Capital</strong>, and <strong>James Nelson </strong>of <strong>Massey Knakal</strong> was also involved.</p>
<p align="left"><em>Crain's </em>had news of the lease on June 15.</p>
