Aaron Gell will come to Observer.com from a stint as editor-in-chief of Hemispheres, the inflight magazine for United Airlines, which he relaunched in 2009 to glowing reviews. Previously, he was the online features editor for Radaronline.com, and served as executive editor of Radar's third print iteration. He has also held senior editorial positions at W magazine, Mirabella and Time Out New York, which he helped launch. Among other publications, his writing has appeared in Vanity Fair, Elle, GQ, New York Magazine and The New York Times.
