Kim Severson to Take Over The New York Times Atlanta Bureau

Times food writer Kim Severson announced this afternoon over Twitter that she is moving to Atlanta to take over The Times bureau there.

Look, I’ll still be writing about food,” she tweeted later. “I’m just adding murder, natural disasters and politics to the mix.”

Ms. Severson joins A.G. Sulzberger, who is off to Kansas City, as a newly appointed bureau chief tapped by Rick Berke as he remakes the paper’s national desk.

Kim Severson—much too liberal to relate to grounded principles of the south.
