According to city records, the duplex on the eighth and ninth floors once belonging to Goldman Sachs alumnus and the former president of the Whitney Museum, Robert Hurst, has sold for a clean $25 million, $4 million short of the original April listing price. Mr. Hurst and his wife, Soledad, split their time between Paris and Aspen, sources say, further supported by the Aspen, Colo., billing address on the city deed.
The “palatial and sun-drenched” three-bedroom, listed by Brown Harris Stevens’ Cathy Franklin, has sweeping views of Central Park and was purchased by the appropriately titled, Park View Trust.
