We caught up with Carmen Electra at the afterparty for Rebecca Taylor‘s collection yesterday at Hudson Terrace; Ms. Electra, despite the rain, looked lovely and nonplussed. “It’s not been traumatic to the hair,” she said, scrunching her mane with one hand to prove it. “It’s better if it gets a little damp.”
Ms. Electra had plenty to say about Ms. Taylor’s show: “The tangerine trenchcoat that had snakeskin lining: I was obsessed. And then everything else, honestly, made me want to go on a tropical vacation. I don’t know, it’s just so beautiful.” The Observer would like to go on a tropical vacation, too, though it seems more likely for Ms. Electra.
Elsewhere on the Terrace, Real Housewife Ramona Singer showed her support for Ms. Taylor by wearing one of the designer’s sweaters, along with a Theory skirt. “I’ve had it for literally, believe it or not, as long as my daughter was born! Fifteen years! It’s a classic!” Ms. Singer said, then mused, “A little tight today.”
