Thank goodness. After that fashion disaster earlier this week where Sam Stosur was caught in the same Lacoste outfit as her opponent, she wisely switched into a purple Lacoste tank today, thereby sparing her from another crisis.

Perhaps not coincidentally, she won easily today, defeating the Italian Sara Errani 6-2, 6-3.

And why was it especially important that Stosur switch outfits? Errani’s endorsement deal is with Lacoste as well. She wore a whire outfit.
