img00518 The Way We Live at the Open Now: 'I'm Going to Make Tilapia Burgers'Several good matches already taking place all over the grounds, but there are hundreds of people lined up outside Ashe watching some “master chefs” face off in a cooking competition.

One of those chefs just declared he’s going to make some great tilapia burgers. Another one was making a pesto sauce with cilantro. But what if you think cilantro tastes like soap, someone asked? Well, the chef huffed, and said “lots of ways to make pesto.” I suppose!

The winner of this supposed competition will donate $5,000 to a favorite charity. I’m not quite sure how they’ll determine a winner.

Chefs include Tony Mantuano, Susan Feniger, Carmen Gonzalez, Rick Moonen and Jonathan Waxman.
