Here’s the latest piece of mail in the 33rd Senate District–this one courtesy of 32BJ.
The mailer–directed at prime Democratic voters–doesn’t even mention Pedro Espada Jr., focusing instead on the qualifications of challenger Gustavo Rivera. (As you can see, it makes a big deal out of the praise from former Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer.)
It’s the second of four mailers from 32BJ, which is spending about $30,000 to do its part in the broader push to oust Espada. The union–which counts 4,000 members in the district–says it has knocked on 1,500 doors and made 1,000 phone calls to date.
