“Chilean Miners Face Up to Life Underground”

This Next Media Animation entry describes the day-to-day of the trapped Chilean miners, who must adjust to life underground. With honky tonk piano twinkling in the background, the subtitles tell us that “their spirits remain high” despite the tight enclosed space and the lack of cigarettes and wine. Not that the miners can’t have fun! NMA recreates a karaoke scene with one of the trapped men singing “I Will Survive.”
