It’s Free to Look: The Chelsea Not-Quite-Hotel Named for the West Village Not-Quite-Inn [Pics]

Since the hipster ground zero Beatrice Inn has closed, 105 West 29th Street has taken up its branding mantle. Meet The Beatrice, 30 floors of luxury rental apartments perched on top of the 26-story Eventi hotel. Beatrice apartments start at $2,775 a month, and go as high as $20,000. They come with all the luxury standards like hardwood, granite, soaking tub and a washer/dryer.

More interesting are the hotel amenities–and they’re not even shared with the Eventi but the sole, exclusive providence of Beatrice residents. The have access to their own gym, concierge, valet parking, “Cloud Lounge” and roof deck. It may not be as buzzy as the original Bea, but it’s quickly filling up and promises to be a bright spot in an otherwise bleak patch of Midtown.
